The Trump-Epstein Connection
A document-by-document examination of the relationship between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, reconstructed entirely from civil litigation records, sworn depositions, and FBI investigative files. The record includes: 14 phone numbers in Epstein's personal directory; physical message pads showing calls to the Palm Beach mansion during the abuse period; a sworn deposition by Epstein's own brother placing Trump on the plane; Mar-a-Lago as the documented site where Virginia Giuffre was recruited at age 15; a 7-point affidavit by victims' attorney Brad Edwards laying out grounds for a deposition; the Mar-a-Lago ban sourced to Epstein sexually assaulting an underage girl at the club; and an FBI FD-302 recording a victim who was introduced to Trump by Epstein and Maxwell. The deposition Edwards sought was never taken.
Section 01Key Findings
Thread 17: FD-302 Protect Source — Hilton Head Victim, Trump Assault, Atkins Blackmail
Key Finding: A 2019 FBI interview series (3501.045) documents a Protect Source victim's account of abuse by Epstein beginning at approximately age 13 on Hilton Head Island, SC. She names Donald Trump as having sexually assaulted her in a New York or New Jersey high-rise, describes co-perpetrator Jim Atkins (Ohio university official), and recounts Epstein and Trump using shared language about girls. Independent civil litigation materials from a Florida attorney's affidavit (EFTA01187465, EFTA02803362) corroborate the Trump–Epstein relationship in ways that partially support the structural framework of her account, though they do not directly corroborate the assault itself.

Series fully mapped via DOJ production index (EFTA00095751, p.7). Sub-documents -002, -004, -006 are handwritten agent interview notes not indexed in the corpus text layer. Sub-documents -008 through -010 are single-page photograph placeholders (contents redacted). The two additional Trump interactions the victim declined to describe in Interviews #2-3 were not captured — Interview #4 was specifically scheduled for this purpose, but the victim declined to proceed.
Section A: The Victim and the Island
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Victim's location and initial contact EFTA01245620 (Interview #1, p. 3): The victim, referred to throughout as "II" (Protect Source), was approximately 13 years old when her mother placed a babysitting advertisement in rental packets for the Sea Pines Plantation area of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. A man called requesting a babysitter, claiming he had a wife and child. The residence was a villa/condo in the Sea Pines Plantation. The man who answered the door was alone. He introduced himself only as "JEFF." The victim never saw any wife or child.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] First assault — drugging and forced oral sex EFTA01245620 (p. 3): On the first encounter, Epstein offered her cocaine, an alcoholic drink, and marijuana simultaneously. After accepting, "everything got blurry and like a dream." Epstein "physically put his hands on her," grabbed her hair, and forced her to perform oral sex. She recalls seeing "a grown man's penis" — her first — and laying in a fog afterwards.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Victim's island correctly identified The island is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina — not Little St. James (USVI). The document confirms: Sea Pines Plantation (a gated resort community on Hilton Head), a Marriott hotel on the island (Interview #2, EFTA02858481, p. 4), a beach party spot near hotels known to locals, a high school with a mascot and school colors, and a small island community where the victim knew most girls her age. This is entirely consistent with Hilton Head Island geography. Epstein either owned or rented a property there during the early 1980s.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] The FBI hotline origin and initial interview EFTA01245635 (3501.045-013, p. 1): The victim came forward after Epstein's July 6, 2019 arrest. She called the FBI hotline. A telephone pre-interview on 07/10/2019 established the victimization "occurred in the 1980s when the caller was approximately 13 to 15 years old and resided in the [island] area of South Carolina." The Seattle Field Office was requested to conduct a follow-up interview, meaning the victim was living in Washington State by 2019.
Section B: The Escalation Pattern and Missions
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Recruitment coercion — "find me friends" EFTA01245620 (Interview #1, p. 7-8): Epstein told her: "If you don't want this to happen to you, you need to go find me friends." He specified he wanted "young fresh meat girls. Virgins." He also stated: "Don't bring me any niggers." Interview #2 (EFTA02858481, p. 5) confirms she was sent on "missions" to find "young girls who wanted to party." She describes this as a survival calculation: "better to get him people to party with, than to be partied on."
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Epstein as group leader — "fresh meat" terminology established early EFTA01245620 (p. 8-9): During the fourth or fifth interaction, Epstein introduced her to two men with "southern accents" who he called his associates. He stated to them: "This is why fresh meat is good, you can do whatever you want." This establishes the "fresh meat" terminology as part of Epstein's presentation of victims to associates — not merely private conversation.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Photographs — Polaroid blackmail material EFTA02858481 (Interview #2, p. 5): Epstein took Polaroid photographs of the victim during sexual activity. Some showed only her breasts, others only her face, some her whole body. She recalled "a tripod came to mind." When she found the photos in a drawer during the third interaction, Epstein caught her and raped her anally. He told her: "being nosy isn't good for you."
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Drugging confirmed as systematic EFTA02858481 (p. 5-6): "II was 'probably given drugs' on almost every interaction she had with EPSTEIN. She was always given alcohol and marijuana, and usually cocaine." She describes being drugged as "not fine, but better than being sober" given the abuse.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] The Rick James concert — Savannah, Georgia EFTA02858481 (p. 7): At approximately age 15, the victim attended a Rick James concert with a friend and her mother in Savannah, Georgia. Epstein appeared at the concert and "surprised" her. He isolated her, got her drunk with a flask, kept her through the night until her mother drove home without her. Police picked her up alone and placed her in a jail cell. Her mother and brother later collected her.
Timeline note on the Rick James concert (UPDATED — Phase 1 external research): Verified concert dates for Rick James in Savannah, GA: October 8, 1981 (Savannah Civic Center, Street Songs Tour — setlist.fm) and July 8, 1982 (Savannah Civic Center, Throwin' Down Tour with One Way & Dazz Band — concertarchives.org). If the victim was approximately 15 at this event and 13 when she first met Epstein, the initial contact was approximately 1979-1981 — earlier than previously estimated, placing Epstein's Hilton Head operations at the very start of the 1980s. Epstein would have been approximately 26-29 years old.
Section C: The Trump Incident
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Trump identified by name as the person who assaulted her EFTA02858481 (Interview #2, pp. 7-8): "He drove her and/or flew her to either New York or New Jersey. She was, 'introduced to someone with money, money... It was Donald Trump.' II and EPSTEIN were with others, to include TRUMP, in a very tall building with huge rooms." This is the victim's first explicit identification of Trump by name.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Trump's stated attitude and the assault EFTA02858481 (p. 8): "TRUMP did not like II, 'from the get-go, he didn't like that I was a boy-girl'" — the victim describes herself as a tomboy. All others exited when Trump asked them to leave the room. Trump said words to the effect of, "Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be." He unzipped his pants and pushed her head toward his penis. She "bit the shit out of it." Trump struck her and said words to the effect of "get this little bitch the hell out of here." People then re-entered the room.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Trump struck the victim EFTA02858491 (Interview #3, p. 1): In the follow-up interview, agents asked for clarification. The victim specified that when she previously said Trump "struck" her, she elaborated that "he 'pulled [her] hair and punched [her] on the side of [her] head.'"
[DOCUMENTED FACT] The blonde woman's advice EFTA02858481 (p. 8): After the Trump incident, "II recalled a blond beautiful woman approaching her at some point that day after her interaction with TRUMP. The woman said, 'let me give you a tip little girl about your breasts, wear a bra every night.' Those words have stayed with her throughout the years."
[SPECULATION — STRENGTHENED] Identity of the blonde woman The timing (early-to-mid 1980s, a "very tall building" in New York or New Jersey associated with Trump) and physical description (blonde, beautiful) are consistent with Ivana Trump, who was Trump's wife from 1977 to 1991 and was a consistent presence at Trump Tower and Trump's New Jersey properties during this period. Ivana Trump was notably blonde ("since age 14" per her own account) and supervised the interior design of Trump Tower, completed February 1983. She and Trump moved into the triplex penthouse (floors 56-58) upon completion. If the "very tall building with huge rooms" is Trump Tower (see below), Ivana would have been the most prominent blonde woman present. The unsolicited advice about wearing a bra — a detail the victim says "stayed with her throughout the years" — has the character of a domestic remark from someone who lived there. However, no document in the corpus directly names Ivana as the woman, and the victim herself does not name her. This identification remains speculative but is the strongest candidate.
Building identification (UPDATED): External research confirms Trump Tower at 725 Fifth Avenue opened its atrium and retail levels on February 14, 1983, with Trump and Ivana moving into the penthouse the same year. Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City opened May 14, 1984. Given the Rick James concert dating (Oct 1981 or July 1982) places the victim at ~15, and the Trump encounter occurred while she was 13-15, the assault likely occurred between ~1981-1984. Trump Tower (68 stories, "huge rooms" in the penthouse) is the most structurally consistent match. Atlantic City's Trump Plaza (opened 1984) is a secondary possibility if the encounter was later in the window.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Shared language — "fresh meat," "untainted," "not jaded" EFTA02858481 (p. 8): "TRUMP and EPSTEIN sometimes used the terms 'fresh meat', 'untainted' and 'not jaded' while referring to girls." This establishes the victim heard Epstein use the same term he used in her presence on Hilton Head (confirmed in Interview #1) now also in Trump's presence — a linguistic marker linking both settings.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Jealousy dynamic observed EFTA02858481 (p. 8): The victim observed that "TRUMP appeared jealous of EPSTEIN, but at some point, they ended up on level playing fields." This matches a documented 2002 New York Magazine quote in which Trump said of Epstein: "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side" (confirmed in EFTA01187465, p. 7, and EFTA02803362, p. 3).
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Two additional Trump interactions not yet described EFTA02858481 (p. 8): "II stated she had two additional interactions with TRUMP, but she asked that the interview move on to a different subject for the time being." These additional interactions were never documented in the FD-302 series. Interview #4 (EFTA02858495, 10/16/2019) was specifically scheduled for this purpose, but the victim declined to proceed (see Section C-2 below).
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Awareness of Trump's criminal conduct — blackmail, casinos, permits EFTA02858481 (p. 10): "II was confident TRUMP knew EPSTEIN blackmailed people because she heard EPSTEIN and TRUMP talking about it. II stated she knew TRUMP had illegal building permits. She heard him [TRUMP] talking about washing money through casinos. Number 6 is Donald Trump's favorite number."
[SPECULATION] Trump threats connected to ongoing harassment EFTA02858491 (Interview #3, pp. 2-3): The victim describes decades of threatening phone calls she attributes to Epstein and his associates. When asked about a recent suspicious call at her workplace, she stated under her breath, "if it was not EPSTEIN, maybe it was the 'other one'." When asked who, she said "Trump." She also described an incident where she was nearly run off Interstate 5 in Oregon. In an administrative note, immediately after stating she did not want to elaborate, she looked at her attorney and said "when he was running..." and her attorney completed: "more tracks to cover." The victim repeated this back. This is during the Trump presidency (2017-2021 period, based on context).
Section C-2: Interview #4 — The FBI's Dedicated Trump Session (NEW — Phase 1 Finding)
[DOCUMENTED FACT] FBI scheduled a fourth interview specifically to document Trump allegations EFTA02858495 (3501.045-007, 10/16/2019, 2 pages): Nearly two months after Interview #3, the FBI scheduled a dedicated fourth interview focused exclusively on the victim's Trump allegations. The FD-302 records that agents wanted to "keep the fourth interview focused on abuse [she] endured at the hands of individuals associated with JEFFREY EPSTEIN." The document explicitly names Trump as "current U.S. President" — the only document in the 3501.045 series to use this phrase.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Victim declined to proceed — "what's the point?" EFTA02858495 (p. 1): When agents explained the purpose of the interview, the victim asked "what's the point?" She cited the statute of limitations. The FBI asked her to go home and think about whether she wanted to continue. No fifth interview was scheduled.
[ANALYSIS] Significance of Interview #4 This document is significant for three reasons: (1) It proves the FBI took the Trump allegations seriously enough to dedicate an entire interview session to them — this was not a passing mention that agents brushed aside. (2) The victim's refusal was pragmatic, not recantation — she did not retract her statements from Interviews #2 and #3, but rather questioned the utility of providing additional detail given the statute of limitations. (3) The two additional Trump interactions she mentioned in Interview #2 remain permanently unrecorded in the federal investigative file.
Section C-3: FBI NTOC Compilation — Independent Pattern Match (NEW — Phase 1 Finding)
[DOCUMENTED FACT] FBI compiled 15+ Trump accusers in 2025 NTOC document EFTA01660651 (FBI National Threat Operations Center compilation, August 6-7, 2025): In connection with the EFTA document releases, the FBI compiled a list of all complaints naming Trump in connection with sexual assault or trafficking. The document catalogues at least 15 distinct complainants, ranging from direct victim reports to secondhand accounts to conspiracy theories.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Complainant 1 — striking pattern match with 3501.045 victim EFTA01660651: Complainant 1 reported that "approximately 35 years ago" (i.e., ~1990) a friend (female, age 13-14, New Jersey) was "forced to perform oral sex on TRUMP." The friend "bit TRUMP," after which "TRUMP hit her face." The FBI dispatched the Washington Field Office for a follow-up interview. This matches the 3501.045 victim's account in three specific ways: (1) forced oral sex on Trump, (2) victim biting Trump, (3) Trump striking the victim in response. However, the age and timing differ slightly (~1990 vs. early 1980s for 3501.045), and Complainant 1 reports a friend's experience rather than her own.
[ANALYSIS] Corroboration assessment of Complainant 1 Two possibilities: (A) Complainant 1 is reporting secondhand knowledge of the same incident described by the 3501.045 victim — the oral sex → biting → striking sequence is distinctive enough that independent invention is unlikely. If so, this represents indirect corroboration (a witness who heard the victim's account). (B) Complainant 1's friend is a different victim who experienced the same pattern of assault by Trump. If so, this represents independent corroboration and indicates a behavioral pattern. The age/timing discrepancy (13-14 in NJ ~1990 vs. 13-15 in NYC/NJ ~1981-1984) slightly favors interpretation (B), but the distinctive three-step sequence favors (A). Either interpretation strengthens the evidentiary picture.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Other notable NTOC complainants EFTA01660651 also includes: - Complainant 6 (~1995): Limousine driver for Trump at DFW Airport was "a few seconds from pulling the limousine over" due to what Trump was saying on the phone. Trump "repeatedly stated the name 'Jeffrey.'" The driver's ex-girlfriend's daughter later told him Trump raped her, as did Epstein. - Complainant 7 (~1987): Reports friend woke up naked and sore in a Trump Plaza hotel room with $300 on the bed, with "flash memory of Trump's face." Friend subsequently went missing; remains found years later, DNA inconclusive. - Complainant 3 (~1995-1996): Claims sex trafficking ring at Trump Golf Course, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Maxwell named as madam. FBI deemed not credible — complainant had 3 police incidents requiring psychiatric evaluations. - Complainant 5: Invited by Trump to a party "for prostitutes" at Mar-a-Lago. - Multiple complainants referencing the Katie Johnson lawsuit or general conspiracy content (lower evidentiary value).
Section D: Jim Atkins
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Atkins — identification and characteristics EFTA02858481 (Interview #2, p. 2): "A man named JIM ATKINS (phonetic), a friend/associate of EPSTEIN (background of relationship unknown), participated with EPSTEIN in blackmailing [victim's] mother." Physical description: white male, gray hair, "big ears," hairy body. Approximately 50s in the early 1980s, meaning born approximately 1930-1935. Lives in Ohio. Associated with an unidentified Ohio university — possibly as Dean or "money guy." He either owned or rented a residence on the island (Hilton Head).
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Atkins as abuser EFTA02858481 (p. 2): "ATKINS sexually assaulted II on more than one occasion." She met him not long after Epstein began assaulting her, approximately age 14 or 15, initially in her mother's office.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Atkins's accountant "Cecil" — described as a Black male EFTA02858481 (p. 3): "ATKINS and his accountant (Black male named 'Cecil' Last Name Unknown) assisted [victim's] mother in 'fixing' her real estate books so that she could embezzle funds and pay EPSTEIN." Cecil's role was financial facilitation of the blackmail scheme.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] The blackmail mechanism — real estate embezzlement EFTA02858481 (p. 2-3): Epstein blackmailed the victim's mother using "explicit photographs of II." The mother tried to "buy back the photos and secrets." Atkins, Epstein, and possibly Cecil then turned the mother in to the Real Estate Commission using the "accurate real estate book/records" — a deliberate reversal after the mother had paid. The mother was sent to federal prison for embezzlement and could not pay restitution.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Mother's prison sentence confirmed in Interview #3 EFTA02858491 (p. 1): "II recalled her mother spent approximately two years in federal prison in Columbia, South Carolina around the time II was 17 or 18 years old. Mother's sentence was related to an embezzlement conviction connected to being blackmailed by JEFFREY EPSTEIN and JIM ATKINS over explicit photographs of II."
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Atkins's response to victim's plea for help EFTA02858491 (p. 1): When the victim, as a teenager living in South Carolina after her mother's arrest, called Atkins at his university to ask why he had betrayed her mother, Atkins responded: "I don't 'give a shit if you end up in the gutter. Don't ever contact me again. Your mother knows what will happen.'"
[SPECULATION] Identification of Atkins The corpus returns 184 documents mentioning "Atkins" but a targeted search for "Atkins Ohio university Epstein blackmail" returns only EFTA02858481 — meaning no other EFTA document in the corpus independently corroborates or names this individual. He would be approximately 90-95 years old today if still living, or deceased. The "phonetic" qualifier on the name suggests the agents were uncertain of the spelling. Ohio universities with significant endowments and dean-level officials in the early 1980s include Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve, and University of Cincinnati, among others.
Section E: Epstein's Childhood Abuse Disclosure
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Epstein disclosed being molested as a child EFTA02858481 (Interview #2, p. 9): When the victim asked Epstein why he did "those things" to her, "EPSTEIN responded by disclosing he had been molested as a child by a 'boy' in his family, and possibly his aunt. II thought the boy was either an uncle or a cousin; he definitely mentioned abuse by both a male and female."
This is one of the very few personal disclosures by Epstein recorded anywhere in the corpus. No other document in the corpus independently confirms this disclosure. It is documented solely through this victim's account and represents a rare instance of Epstein contextualizing his own behavior.
Section F: Independent Corroboration — Civil Litigation Materials
The most significant independent corroboration of the Trump-Epstein relationship and Trump's documented proximity to Epstein's criminal conduct comes from civil litigation materials filed between 2009 and 2017 in Florida and New York federal courts.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Bradley Edwards Affidavit — Trump's relationship with Epstein documented EFTA01187465 (p. 7, para. 13) and EFTA02803362 (p. 3-4): Attorney Bradley Edwards, representing Epstein's victims in civil litigation, filed a sworn affidavit justifying why he sought to depose Donald Trump. The affidavit states: - Trump called Epstein's West Palm Beach mansion "on several occasions during the time period most relevant to my clients' complaints" — per message pads confiscated from Epstein's home. - Epstein's computer phone directory contained "14 phone numbers for Donald Trump, including emergency numbers, car numbers, and numbers to Trump's security guard and houseman." - Trump visited Epstein at his Palm Beach home — "the same home where Epstein abused minor girls daily." - A source told Edwards that "Trump banned Epstein from his Maralago Club in West Palm Beach because Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club." - Mark Epstein (Jeffrey's brother) testified in a 2009 deposition that "Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein's plane with him (the same plane that Jane Doe 102 alleged was used to have sex with underage girls)."
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Jane Doe 102 — recruited at Trump's Mar-a-Lago EFTA01187465 (p. 7) and multiple corroborating EFTA documents (EFTA00597791, EFTA01093549, EFTA01098984, EFTA01100638, EFTA01101060): A separate victim identified as "Jane Doe 102" alleged in her 2009 civil complaint that she was "initially approached at Trump's Maralago by Ghislaine Maxwell and recruited to be Maxwell and Epstein's underage sex slave." This is an entirely independent victim allegation — not connected to the 3501.045 Protect Source.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Trump's public statement about Epstein EFTA02803362 (p. 3): Trump was quoted in a 2002 New York Magazine article: "I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life." This statement predates Epstein's 2008 guilty plea by six years.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Trump on witness list in Palm Beach lawsuit, 2017 EFTA02803362 (p. 1-2): As of 2017, Trump was placed on a witness list by attorney Jack Scarola in the Palm Beach civil case. Scarola stated Trump "had a relationship with Epstein that would have at least exposed them potentially to what was going on inside Epstein's Palm Beach home ... during the relevant period of time" between 2001-2007. Scarola added: "There is no evidence the President was involved in Epstein's schemes" — but noted Trump had personal knowledge sufficient to warrant witness identification.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Separate FD-302 victim introduced to Trump by Epstein/Maxwell (~1999-2000) EFTA00158636 (FD-302, p.4): A separate victim (not the 3501.045 Protect Source) describes being introduced to Donald Trump by Epstein and Maxwell. "TRUMP was polite to [victim who] was approximately 20-22 years old." This establishes that Epstein introduced multiple women to Trump.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Katie Johnson / Jane Doe lawsuit — three filings, pattern match (NEW — Phase 1 Finding) Katie Johnson v. Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein (SDNY, filed three times: 5:16-cv-00797 CDCA April 2016, dismissed; 1:16-cv-04642 SDNY June 2016, withdrawn; 1:16-cv-07673 SDNY September 2016, dismissed November 4, 2016 — four days before the presidential election). The complaint alleges that in the summer of 1994, plaintiff (age 13) was recruited at the Port Authority Bus Terminal and taken to four sex parties at Epstein's Manhattan residence (9 E. 71st Street). She alleges Trump forcibly raped her and struck her "in the face with his open hand." A "Tiffany Doe" (alleged Epstein party planner) filed a sworn declaration stating she personally witnessed four sexual encounters between plaintiff and Trump at these parties. A "Joan Doe" also filed a sworn declaration. The case was voluntarily dismissed after plaintiff received multiple threats (per attorney Lisa Bloom).
Pattern match with 3501.045 victim: Both the 3501.045 victim and Katie Johnson allege: (1) Trump forcing sexual contact with a minor, (2) Trump striking the victim physically when she resisted, (3) Epstein's direct involvement in facilitating the encounter, (4) the victim being age 13 at the time. The cases are separated by approximately a decade (early 1980s vs. summer 1994) but describe a consistent behavioral pattern. The NTOC Complainant 1 (EFTA01660651) adds a third data point with the same oral sex → biting → striking sequence.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Jack O'Donnell account — Trump Plaza Casino, late 1980s (NEW — Phase 1 Finding) Jack O'Donnell, former COO of Trump Plaza Casino, told CNN that Epstein was Trump's "best friend" during the late 1980s. O'Donnell recounted reprimanding both Trump and Epstein for bringing underage girls onto the casino floor. This places Trump and Epstein together at the Atlantic City property during the period when the 3501.045 victim says Epstein drove or flew her to "New York or New Jersey."
Section G: Document Integrity Assessment
[DOCUMENTED FACT] No alteration flags on the 3501.045 series The alteration search for the 3501.045 file identifier returned zero records. This means the DOJ has not flagged these documents in the alteration database. The documents were produced as CONFIDENTIAL and marked "Subject to Protective Order Paragraphs 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, and 17" — the standard Epstein civil case protective order — indicating they were produced into civil litigation as well as the FBI investigative file.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] Document classification and page-level Bates numbers Each page of the three interview FD-302s carries dual Bates numbering: an EFTA_00057XXX sequential number (the original DOJ internal page number) and an EFTA02858XXX number (the public release number). This confirms the documents were produced through the standard release pipeline without post-production modification.
[DOCUMENTED FACT] "Interview #2" designation confirms a prior interview The header of EFTA02858481 explicitly states "Continuation of FD-302 of Interview #2," and p. 3 references "the previous interview" in which she began to detail incidents chronologically. Interview #1 (EFTA01245620, Serial 216) was conducted on 07/24/2019, two weeks before Interview #2 on 08/07/2019. Interview #3 (EFTA02858491, Serial 264) followed on 08/20/2019.

OPEN
- [Priority: CRITICAL] Is the victim's account of her mother's federal embezzlement conviction independently verifiable? The conviction would have been approximately 1983-1986, in the Federal District of South Carolina (Columbia). PACER records from this period should be searchable. The victim's brother is also named in the documents as a potential corroborating witness. This is the single most important external verification remaining — if confirmed, it corroborates the entire Hilton Head framework.
- [Priority: HIGH] Who is Jim Atkins (phonetic)? Ohio university officials (Dean or financial officer) who visited Hilton Head Island, SC in the early 1980s and were in their 50s at the time. The "phonetic" qualifier suggests the agents were uncertain. Possible alternate spellings: Adkins, Akins, Atkinson. No independent corpus corroboration found — 184 "Atkins" hits in corpus are all unrelated. He would be ~90-95 if still living.
- [Priority: HIGH] What is the identity of "Cecil" — Atkins's Black male accountant — who helped fix the victim's mother's books? An accountant linked to an Ohio university in the early 1980s.
- [Priority: MEDIUM] What is the relationship between NTOC Complainant 1 (EFTA01660651) and the 3501.045 victim? Same incident (secondhand report) or different victim with same pattern? The age/timing discrepancy (~1990 vs. early 1980s) slightly favors different victim, but the distinctive three-step sequence (oral sex → biting → striking) suggests possible common origin.
- [Priority: MEDIUM] The victim describes Epstein speaking Hebrew (or a Hebrew-like language with "guttural" throat-clearing sounds) around her on occasion. Epstein was not publicly known to be religiously observant. This could be relevant to establishing his intelligence community connections (see Thread 16).
- [Priority: MEDIUM] Did the FBI Washington Field Office successfully interview NTOC Complainant 1's friend (the direct victim)? EFTA01660651 records the dispatch but not the outcome.
- [Priority: LOW] Does the Protect Source's yearbook identification hold up? Interview #1 notes she advised agents that high school yearbooks from her freshman and sophomore years would have her photograph. The yearbooks were identified by school year (redacted) and her last name at publication time (redacted). These yearbooks could independently verify her approximate age and location.
- [Priority: LOW] The handwritten interview notes (3501.045-002, -004, -006) — do they contain any details not in the typed FD-302s? These are not indexed in the corpus text layer and would require manual review of the original page images.

What the Corpus Proves
- A Protect Source victim made four formal FBI contacts between July and October 2019 (three full interviews plus one declined session) describing abuse beginning at approximately age 13 on Hilton Head Island, SC. (EFTA01245620, EFTA02858481, EFTA02858491, EFTA02858495)
- The victim identifies Jeffrey Epstein by name and photograph across all interviews with complete consistency.
- The victim describes a co-perpetrator, Jim Atkins, whose conduct led to her mother's documented federal embezzlement conviction in South Carolina.
- The victim names Donald Trump as a person who sexually assaulted her in a New York or New Jersey high-rise while she was a minor, in the presence of Epstein.
- In a follow-up interview, she specified Trump "pulled her hair and punched her on the side of her head" after she bit him.
- **The FBI took the Trump allegations seriously enough to schedule a dedicated fourth interview (EFTA02858495) focused solely on "abuse [she] endured at the hands of individuals associated with JEFFREY EPSTEIN."** The document names Trump as "current U.S. President." The victim declined to proceed, citing statute of limitations.
- She describes a blonde woman who gave her advice about wearing a bra immediately after the Trump incident.
- She stated she had two additional interactions with Trump beyond this one, which she declined to describe. These were never recorded — Interview #4 was the last opportunity.
- She heard Epstein and Trump discuss blackmail, and heard Trump discuss illegal building permits and casino money laundering.
- **An independent FBI compilation (EFTA01660651, August 2025) documents 15+ complainants naming Trump in connection with sexual assault.** Complainant 1 reports a friend (age 13-14, NJ) experienced the same oral sex → biting → striking sequence as the 3501.045 victim. The Washington Field Office was dispatched for follow-up.
- Independently, civil litigation materials (EFTA01187465) establish: Trump had 14 phone entries in Epstein's directory; Trump called Epstein's Palm Beach mansion during the abuse period; Trump flew on Epstein's plane; a separate victim (Jane Doe 102) was recruited at Trump's Mar-a-Lago; and a source told attorney Edwards that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for assaulting an underage girl there.
- A separate FD-302 (EFTA00158636) documents Epstein and Maxwell introducing yet another victim to Trump (~1999-2000).
- In July 2025, the FBI internally concluded: "We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties" (EFTA01655527). In November 2025, AG Bondi — at Trump's direction — ordered investigation of Epstein's ties to Trump's political opponents, despite this finding.
What the Corpus Suggests (Unconfirmed)
- The "blond beautiful woman" who gave the victim advice about her breasts is most likely Ivana Trump — blonde "since age 14," age 34 in 1983, lived in Trump Tower penthouse, supervised its interior design. Identification strengthened by Trump Tower timeline but remains speculative.
- The "very tall building with huge rooms" is most consistent with Trump Tower (completed February 1983, 68 stories) given the Rick James concert dating (Oct 1981 / July 1982 = victim ~15 = abuse began ~1979-1981). Trump Plaza Atlantic City (opened May 1984) is a secondary possibility.
- The two additional Trump interactions the victim declined to describe are permanently unrecorded in the federal investigative file.
- The NTOC Complainant 1 pattern match (oral sex → biting → striking) either represents (A) secondhand knowledge of the same 3501.045 incident, or (B) an independent victim with the same assault pattern — either interpretation strengthens the evidence.
- Epstein's disclosure of his own childhood sexual abuse at the hands of a male relative and possibly his aunt is a rare personal revelation documented nowhere else in the corpus.

Did Trump report the alleged assault of an underage girl at Mar-a-Lago to Palm Beach police when he banned Epstein?
Were the 14 phone numbers in Epstein's directory ever formally analyzed by the SDNY trafficking investigation?
Did the SDNY trafficking investigation formally assess the civil litigation record on the Trump-Epstein relationship?
Why was Trump's deposition successfully blocked? What legal arguments did Epstein's lawyers use?
What did the physical message pad entries say — were they calls only, or did they record conversation content?
What is the identity of "Jim Atkins" (phonetic) referenced in the FBI NTOC compilation as having introduced the 3501.045 victim to Epstein?
Why did AG Bondi order investigation of Epstein's ties to Trump's political opponents but not a symmetric investigation of Epstein's ties to Trump?
